Mirko Nufi brings international experience and expertise to soccer coaching. A former professional youth academy player, he moved to the U.S. in 2017 to advance his education and playing career, earning a degree in Exercise Science and a master’s in Strength and Conditioning from Merrimack College.

As captain of Merrimack’s Division I men’s soccer team, he earned accolades such as NEC Defensive Player of the Year, United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American, and All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year in 2021.

Now the First Assistant Coach at Merrimack, Mirko also serves as Director of Coaching at MA Rush Soccer Club and coaches at the Center of Excellence. His blend of playing, academic, and coaching experience fuels his commitment to developing athletes and fostering a culture of excellence.
